Any yet, in a quiet moment of thought and pleasant chatter, I realised that there are all kinds of things I want to do this year.
I want to go on more hikes,
spent more time with friends,
take more bike rides,
run farther, faster, stronger.
I want to take more photos,
learn more languages,
spend more time outdoors,
listen to more live music ... I want to dance more.
I want to be a better friend, sister, daughter, girlfriend, confidente, motivator, mentor, coworker.
I want to work to live, not live to work.
I want to do more.
This is an approach that I am loving ... and, as I discovered today upon opening up my new favourite magazine to find an Editor's Letter entitled, "More is more", I may not be so original.
"This year, I vow to avoid words like 'always' and 'never'; instead, I am opting for 'more"
In the end, I don't really care WHOSE idea it is ... it's all 'round brilliant. Here's to a new year of more.

As 'degrowthists' I would recomend you in order to maximize your happiness to keep to the classic "less is more" ;).
Well-being through non-consumptive means, consuming less, and by "voluntary simplicity".
This way you will have more time for nature, family, culture and community.
Menos estimulos pero de más calidad. This is my 2010 resolution ;) Best regards A. Thanks for your comment.
Si, senor. In fact, it's really just a different way of going about "less is more", I think. Hikes, time with friends, running, photos, languages ... in the end, they are all non-consumptive means, consuming less and playing more!
Besos!
